Trailer Stolen Outside Local Business
A police investigation was initiated on Monday after a man discovered a car trailer had been stolen from outside a local business.
Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department made their way to the International Drive business around 6:45 a.m. The victim reported that the black, 2011 Hefty trailer was twenty-two foot in length, and had two axles and four wheels.
In addition, it had an aluminum diamond plate toolbox on the front. Total loss was estimated to be $4,610.00.
The victim reported he had last seen the trailer the prior Saturday. It had been parked in front of the building, secured with a lock.
Investigation is continuing currently by detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
